How Renter Hall of Shame Works

Submitting Your Renter Experience

This database is built upon the submissions of property owners and managers throughout the United States. To submit a tenant, you must first register an account. Once you are signed in, you can use the “Submit Bad Renter” page to submit your renter. You can submit bad renters along with good renters.

It will take up to 24 hours to process a submission as each submission will have to be reviewed by administration. Privacy concerns are important to us, and we understand that some property owners may be incredibly upset about a bad renter. By hand-reviewing submissions, we are able to make sure all submissions meet our strict User Agreement standards

Searching the Database

Each membership account comes with a set number of “Searches.”

  • You can search as many times as you like to see if the applicant you are looking for is in the database.
  • If you find a match, you can purchase their profile to see what other property owners have said about them.
  • One “Search” will be deducted from your account when you view a profile.

What about multiple profiles for the same individual?

If an applicant has multiple profiles from multiple property owners, you will be able to see all of the submissions for that person when you purchase their profile. Only 1 “Search” is deducted from your account per individual.
