The History of Renter Hall of Shame

As a real estate investor for the past 10 years, I have experienced my fair share of bad renters. Nothing is more aggravating than hearing one story and experiencing a different one … month after month sometimes.

One of my most recent experiences was the final catalyst that pushed me to create The Hall. This bad renter is sure a piece of work. Not only did their checks bounce on a consistent basis, but then the fraudulent bank letters started showing up trying to “justify” their current financial situation. Then the fake emails from relatives started arriving saying that would be sending funds right away to help out these poor victims. I finally was able to evict them and not 30 days later I heard that they were kicked out of their next rental home for trying to pass a fake check to the new landlord.

If I, or that other landlord, would have had access to a database like The Hall, we would have saved ourselves a world of frustration and lost money. I’m sure they are currently renting from another unsuspecting landlord right now.

I am sure you have many stories similar to mine and probably even worse in some cases. Please join me in finally putting an end to these types of bad renters and spread the word about The Hall. Induct as many bad renters as you can, so other landlords don’t have to experience the same frustration as you have had to endure.
